01 / The beginnings

At the heart
of Anwarabad.

A family story begins with the people and places held in memory.

This website honours Khawaja Fazal Karim (RA), the founder of Anwarabad. He named the place after his eldest son, Anwar Khawaja. Their story connects the place and its people across generations.

According to family recollections, he built the mosque in the 1940s, and the surrounding community grew around it. It remains the starting point for the story gathered here.
